  • Create a Live Memorial Website: Free for 30 days

    • The Memorial Website is composed of:

      • An Obituary Editor

      • A Ceremonies Listing Engine

      • A Live Memorial

      • A Live Gallery

      • A Live SlideShow

      • A Fundraiser Engine (optional)

      • An Access Manager: Optional Password, Login, and Anonymous Login.

    • The Memorial Website creation is free. It remains available online 30 days after the Website creation date. The Crowdfunding also lasts 30 days from the Memorial Website creation date.

    • After the free 30 days, the Owner decides to:

      • Purchase a Memorial Website Duration Extension

        • 6-month: USD$59

        • 1-year: USD$99

        • Payment by Debit Card or Credit Card

        • Additional Website Duration Extension can be purchased after one ends, within 30 days.

        • The Website Duration Extension extends the use of all services listed above except the Fundraiser.

      • Delay the decision to purchase a Website Duration Extension:

        • The Website will no longer be accessible/visible to the public from the 31st day.

        • The Owner's account remains active.

        • The Owner can still access the Website. The data remain on the platform for another 30 days.

        • During that time, the Owner can still change his mind and purchase a Website Duration Extension. The Start date of this extension is the day after the free 30 days ended.

      • If the Website Owner doesn't purchase a Website Duration Extension after the 30+30 days, all the Website data will be bundled into an Archive file and a link to download will be sent to the Owner's email address. All data will be deleted from OurFuneral.com for good except the Donation data. They will be kept in the OurFuneral.com books as required by Law.

      • If the Website Owner wants to close the Account, an email must be sent to: support@ourfuneral.com. All the Website data will be bundled into an Archive file and a link to download will be sent to the Owner's email address.

  • Write a Visual Obituary to Honor the Deceased

    • The Obituary is the first visible component of a dedicated Website created by the Memorial Site owner for the deceased.

    • The "Free for 30 days" rules apply to the Obituary. 

    • The Obituary can contain customizable text.

    • The Obituary can contain images. Images can be resized and displayed and positioned next to the text. Images can have a transparent background.

    • Maximum file size: 10MB per image.

    • The Obituary can contain web links to display videos (YouTube, Vimeo...), or web links to files available online.​

    • A link to the Website/Obituary can be shared using email or Social Media platforms, from Ourfuneral.com​.

  • Set Ceremonies to Get Together

    • The "Free for 30 days" rules apply to the Ceremonies. 

    • The Memorial Site Owner can create as many ceremonies as needed.

    • Ceremonies can appear below the Obituary, in addition to the Ceremonies page.

    • Visitors clicking on an address automatically see the direction in Google Maps.

  • Create a Live Memorial to Crowdsource Memories

    • The "Free for 30 days" rules apply to the Live Memorial. 

    • Visitors can publish content on the Memorial visible to all visitors if the Owner allows it (See Settings).

    • All input types (photo, audio, video) are accepted. Maximum size: 10MB per file.

    • Some file formats may not be accepted (Tiff, Tif...)

    • Visitors can Like and comments on everyone's post.

  • Crowdfund the Funeral

    • The Crowdfunding Service is available in Canada and in the USA (except: American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands).

    • The Crowdfunding Service maybe available in other countries except: Belarus, China, Côte d'Ivoire, Cuba, Iran, Lebanon, Macedonia, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia, Sudan, Syria, or Ukraine.

    • OurFuneral.com doesn't collect money directly. OurFuneral.com mandated Stripe.com to collect donations.

    • Setup:

      • The Owner needs to answer a few personal questions, and submit the Fundraising request.

      • OurFuneral.com will contact the Owner by phone to review the submitted information, explain the process and define how the money will be withdrawn.

      • The Fundraiser approval will occur during this call.

      • Once approved, donations can start instantly.

    • Debit/Credit cards can be used to execute the Donation payment directly from the Memorial on OurFuneral.com.

    • Standard Donation duration :

      • 30 days from the Memorial Website creation date.

    • Fee:

      • To offer all these services, we collect a 10% per donation platform usage fee. Money is collected at the moment of payment, by DialogLoop, Inc on the behalf of OurFuneral.com. The Memorial Site Owner doesn't have to pay anything as the money is collected from donations. As part of these 10% is a money transaction fee from Stripe.com (2.9% + 25 cents for Northern America).

    • Money is transferred from the Donor to the DialogLoop Bank Account the same day.

    • Cash-out: Once the crowdfunding is over, the collected money is transferred to the Site Owner as discussed and agreed upon during the Approval process phone call.
